Couples try all sorts of stuff to keep their romance alive.
It could either be going to a sex party or experimenting with BDSM that really turns them on.
But for one woman, she believes having an open relationship is what keeps the romance alive.
Sexpert Nadia Bokody, 36, is not shy to voice her opinions on her YouTube, Instagram and Twitter accounts.
Now speaking in a candid post for news.com.au, the Australian has revealed why open relationships work for her.
She said: “Open relationship is a term for varying forms of consensual non-monogamy, so it means different to different people.”

Nadia added: “For us, it’s sleeping with other people on the odd occasion, but otherwise being one another’s primary partners.
“We are – as American sex columnist Dan Savage calls it – ‘monogamish’.
“Savage has been married to his husband Terry Miller for 15 years and consensually non-monogamous for over a decade of that.
“As someone who’s in a similar position to Savage, I receive dozens of emails from unhappily married readers in sexless relationships.”

The sexpert says despite people being in a sexless relationship, does it mean they should quit on their partners?
She wrote: “But it may provide a case for redefining our sexual ethics to better align with the lived reality of long-term monogamy.
“Clearly there’s a need for it.”
Nadia was discussing a study which found the amount of people seeking out alternative relationship models has increased.

That’s simply because people are up for trying polyamory and open relationships.
Nadia revealed how she approached the topic with her boyfriend a few months ago, to which he said was a “turn on”.
She revealed: “Admittedly, I wasn’t completely sure how I felt about the prospect of my boyfriend sleeping with other women.
“What if the sex was better? What if they were more interesting, attractive or funnier than me? What if I was jealous?”
Since Nadia and her boyfriend began an open relationship three months ago, she claims she’s having the “best sex ever”.
She detailed: “I’ve been with other women – something I’ve always wanted to explore further as a bisexual woman.
“There’s something about laying your cards out on the table and being authentic with your partner that’s sexually liberating.”
“If being open stops working for us, we’ve built the trust to talk about it. But for now, I’m going to kiss women at bars and have hot sex with my boyfriend.”
