A plus-sized woman tried on a Primark dress and left creasing when she saw herself as comedy icon “Vicky Pollard”.
Stephenie Violet, from London, shared her “Primark haul” and tried on some of her Spring/Summer purchases from the budget retailer.
The influencer, who previously joked she looked like a piece of “lamb chop” when she put on a strappy brown top, first wore a 60s-inspired halter-neck top.
Next she changed to a pink polo dress but Stephenie was not happy about the fitting around the waist as she noticed the fabric stretching across her stomach.
The buttons on top barely held her modesty.
“This is so bad,” Stephenie wrote. “I look like ‘Vicky Pollard goes to court’ edition.”
Vicky Pollard was one of the main characters in Little Britain and was renowned for her repetition of her “Yeah, but no, but” catchphrase.
Viewers were in stitches when they recalled Vicky’s iconic look in her pink Kappa tracksuit.
“Vicky Pollard in court, I am screaming,” one said and a second wrote: “You are just so funny!”
A third person suggested: “You actually need to take me to shopping. Just for s***s and giggles.”
“Vicky Pollard goes to court! Behave!!” a fourth commented, along with laughing emojis.
But others said the rest of the outfits suit her nicely, especially the pieces in blue colour.
“The royal, dark blue really suits you,” a viewer pointed out and another agreed: “The first blue top looks really good on you!”
Stephenie explained more of her thoughts on the pink dress, saying: “This is awful. This is so bad, I’m gonna give it a zero minus, what the f***.
“This is so horrible and I lost the receipt so this is now mine. The collar is basically on my f***ing back and the material, it’s horrible, oh my God, get it off me.”
