A fitness star showed how much you can sculpt your body in a year if you are “consistent” and put the hard work in.
Loz Fitness, who has more than 43,000 followers on Instagram, shared pictures of her body taken two years apart.
While she looks stunning in both images, she has achieved rock-hard abs in the 2021 shot.
So what’s the gym bunny’s secret to success?
The British influencer said: “You’ve got to stay consistent. show up for yourself. just keep going.”
And contrary to popular belief, this doesn’t necessarily mean hitting the gym every day or eating healthily for every meal.
Loz explained: “Consistency doesn’t mean going to the gym every single day, it doesn’t mean eating super clean and low calorie foods.
“Consistency is about intertwining your life with fitness and finding that balance. Well, that’s how you will stay consistent!
“Trying to stick to a strict diet and workout regime is just not sustainable.
“It’s likely to work BUT it’ll be short-term and you’ll most likely end up feeling worse about yourself…
“The one tip I have is to balance all aspects of your life.”
Loz believes it’s important to have balance in your life.
She said: “Yes, your main goal for next year might be to lose/gain weight or to get lean/bulk up, but you can’t let fitness take over your life!
“Let yourself have fun still, head out for dinner frequently, have unplanned rest days if you have to.
“You really cannot let your fitness goal control your life!
“To actually reach your goal and to maintain it, you’ve got to do it sustainably, healthily and remember that things take time!”
The fitness guru’s post has garnered 5,300 likes and dozens of positive comments in recent days.
