A woman was stunned when she bought a pair of high-waisted PrettyLittleThing jogging bottoms only for them to be so huge they covered her whole chest.

In the hilarious video, uploaded by TikTok user @meganrighe, she first shows a picture of a model wearing the sleek black leggings which come up to the midriff.

The video is captioned “expectations versus reality” and it’s clear to see why because in the next shot Megan models the joggers herself – and it’s not quite the same effect.

Awkwardly, the leggings cover her whole stomach and boobs, looking more like a jumpsuit than a piece of athleisure.

Meghan explains that, as a woman 5ft3″ tall, she was excited to try the PrettyLittleThing petite loungewear range and assumed they would fit her smaller frame.

The video has since been “liked” thousands of times and many people of shorter stature vented they had the same issues when shopping online.

One person commented: “I have these and the same thing happened to me.”

“Reasons why I only ever order tops from online shops and never bottoms,” said a second.

A third woman wrote: “I’m 5ft – know the feeling! River Island kids is my go-to now.”

On the flip side, many people said the outfit kind of worked, and one suggested teaming it with a belt and wearing it as a playsuit.

“Why does it look ok though?” joked one.

Meghan wrote back: “Hahaha maybe I should keep them and wear them as a jumpsuit.”

“I didn’t pay attention and thought it was a jumpsuit,” admitted another user.

This comes after another Pretty Little Thing customer was left gobsmacked at the length of the arms on a jumper she bought, with the whole thing smothering her.

Another lass claimed her PrettyLittleThing top left blisters on her boobs and shared photos of the red and painful-looking marks.
