Release Date and Where to Watch
Fox Nation has announced a new three-part docuseries titled Yellowstone to Yosemite with Kevin Costner. Costner will serve as both the host and executive producer. The series premieres on February 8. New episodes are released weekly.
This project is Costner’s second collaboration with Fox Nation. In 2022, he worked with the network to produce Yellowstone: One-Fifty.

Plot
The series follows the path taken by Theodore Roosevelt during his 1903 Yosemite expedition. Roosevelt was guided by environmental advocate John Muir. The journey led to Roosevelt’s decision to place Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove under federal protection. This move helped establish the area as part of the U.S. National Park System.
Throughout the series, Costner examines the region’s Indigenous American history. He explores the arrival of outsiders in 1850 and how John Muir became a strong advocate for environmental conservation.The series highlights Muir’s struggle with the political aspects of land management. It also shows how Roosevelt’s intervention led to the expansion of the National Park System. Production Team
Yellowstone to Yosemite was developed by Costner’s production company, Territory Films, along with Warm Springs Productions. Rod Lake and Marc Pierce serve as executive producers alongside Costner.
