There was huge interest as the Moreton Hall school welcomed back its face-to-face careers fair.
There were attendees from 35 of the UK’s top universities and representatives from different professions and industries.
Former pupils of the school returned to give insights into the different career options for current pupils.
The careers fair was well received by pupils.
Lower sixth-former, Georgia Thomas, said: “After Covid has disrupted events for so long it was a privilege to attend such an immense, catch-all careers fair; catering for the aspiring Russell group student, to the budding armed forces member, to those hoping to venture overseas with a look into what universities of America have to offer.
“The careers department delivered stalls and seminars right to Moreton’s doorstep presenting us with the wealth of opportunities our futures may hold.”
Seminars were held for both pupils interested in going to university and for pupils who were interested in other options.
There was special praise for the head of careers, Catherine Ashworth, for organising the event.
Mrs Ashworth said: “All the exhibitors were delighted to have the opportunity to meet students in person once again with many commenting on how exceptionally well-prepared students are for the event.
“One said the ‘calibre of questions was outstanding.’
“Another said ‘we will definitely be back next year.”
