I thought it was interesting, as these agencies both have heaps of data and very smart people, but the difference in price forecasts is staggering.
For the median home worth around 350K, the difference in price forecasts for next year is 35K!
Now I know zillow had the ibuyer debacle, but that is a market segment whose margins are very sensitive to small changes in price.
If I had to guess, I would say Zillow is a bit closer. But that’s just a guess, and my point in sharing these predictions is anyone who tells you they know is not to be trusted.
