MANILA, Philippines —The northeast monsoon or amihan and the easterlies will bring cloudy skies and rain showers in Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Sunday.
Weather specialist Grace Castañeda said the northeast monsoon will bring overcast skies with rains in Cagayan Valley, Aurora and Quezon.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have isolated light rains.
Meanwhile, the easterlies — winds coming from the east that pass through the Pacific Ocean carrying humid and warm weather – will prevail in the rest of the country.
“Generally, the country is expected to have fair weather conditions within the 24-hour period,” the Pagasa forecaster said.
