The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has released a detailed weather forecast, outlining expected conditions and phenomena across all governorates and cities in Egypt.
In a statement posted on its official Facebook page, the EMA predicted cold nights and chilly mornings in Greater Cairo, the northern coast, and northern Upper Egypt. Meanwhile, South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt are expected to experience moderate temperatures.
Weather maps indicate the possibility of light to moderate rainfall in the northeastern coastal areas, extending to the northwestern coast and northern Nile Delta. The EMA has issued a warning for morning fog formation on agricultural roads, highways, and areas near water bodies.
Intermittent windy conditions are also anticipated in South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.
Expected temperatures:
- Greater Cairo and the Nile Delta: High of 22°C, Low of 13°C.
- Northern Coast: High of 21°C, Low of 13°C.
- Northern Upper Egypt: High of 22°C, Low of 8°C.
- Southern Upper Egypt: High of 24°C, Low of 10°C.
