ECONOMYNEXT – State-run SriLankan Airlines said it had cancelled a several flights over “technical issues affecting multiple aircraft”.
“We are working diligently to resolve these issues and restore normal operations, with passenger safety as our highest priority,” the airline said in a statement.
“We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate our customers’ patience.
“Affected passengers are being provided with meals and hotel accommodation, and we are working hard to get everyone to their final destinations.” (Colombo/Nov10/2024)
