Guilfoyle claimed that she has never engaged in any workplace misconduct of any kind, refuting the accusations. She has mentored innumerable women throughout her career, many of whom she still has very close relationships with today.
The assistant, who was under Guilfoyle, accused the former prosecutor of a long list of misconduct charges in a draft complaint that was sent to Fox executives in 2018.

The allegations that Guilfoyle made the woman work from home, where she allegedly exposed herself and showed the assistant photos of the genitalia of men she had slept with, were the most startling of them, as quoted in a report by the Daily Beast.
The woman also claimed that Guilfoyle encouraged her to comply with another Fox employee’s requests for sexual favours, once demanded a massage on her bare thighs, and talked extensively about her sexual exploits.
According to The New Yorker, she said the former host asked her to critique her naked body and suggested that she sleep with rich men.
According to the magazine, Guilfoyle was fired by Fox News in July 2018 even though she had publicly stated that she had left on her own volition. The network then paid the assistant, who is no longer employed there, a multimillion-dollar settlement. At a time when Fox News was struggling, the assistant filed a draft complaint against Guilfoyle, which was never filed in court.
