Candidates who need to modify their application can do so between March 4 and 13 by paying the required modification fee.
RRB Group D Application Fee and Salary Details
The application fee for the recruitment process is Rs 500. Selected candidates will receive an initial salary of Rs 18,000, as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay matrix.
RRB Group D Vacancies and Application Process
The recruitment drive aims to fill 32,438 vacancies under Level 1 of the 7th CPC pay matrix. Interested candidates can apply through the official RRB website at rrbapply.gov.in.
RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be between 18 and 36 years old as of January 1, 2025. As a special measure, a one-time age relaxation of three years has been granted to candidates who missed previous recruitment cycles due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Candidates must meet the required medical standards for their chosen positions. Those who fail the medical examination will not be considered for the role, and no alternative placement will be provided. The date of birth in the application must match the one recorded in the Matriculation/SSLC or an equivalent certificate.
