A total of three large totes wee spread out in the woods, which had nearly 80 packages, according to reports. After investigation, the police then returned the 80 packages back to the local Amazon distribution center in Middleborough. But what’s more interesting is the fact that an Amazon driver arrive at the Lakeville Police Department and and informed authorities there that he had dropped these packages in the woods because he was ‘stressed’.
Chief Perkins of the Lakeville PD has said that they do not want to pursue criminal charges against the driver, and it may now be handled by the Human Resources at Amazon, since it has now become an internal company matter.
