Electronic Arts and Ripple Effect Studio has announced that the Battlefield 2042 Open Beta will kick off on October 8, 2021, with Early Access customers getting in on the action two days earlier on October 6.
And yes, this does match up with previous leaks for the Open Beta which appeared overnight via a streamer.
Battlefield 2042’s Open Beta all be available for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One versions of the upcoming military shooter, and you’ll be able to preload the teaser from October 5. Early Access is given out to those who preordered Battlefield 2042 or have an EA Play membership.
EA had originally planned to launch the Battlefield 2042 Open Beta in September, but was forced to postpone it due to difficulties imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
