The deadline for the Census 2021 survey is fast approaching.
This year, Brits are being asked to fill out a survey based on a number of things in their lives.
There are questions on who you live with, the type of property you’re based at and your employment status.
Census is also quizzing Brits on their qualifications in the past, from GCSEs to A-Level results.
Each household will receive a letter in the post with a unique code to fill out their survey, which can also be done online.
But Brits who fail to fill out the form could risk a £1,000 fine.
Every household in England and Wales is being encouraged to complete the survey before Census Day on March 21, 2021.
For those who live in Scotland, the census in their country will not take place until 2022.
As it’s a legal requirement to fill out the census form, there is a £1,000 fine for those who don’t complete it in time.
Supplying incorrect information is also a criminal offence so the answers must be accurate.
Not all parts are mandatory, for example answering questions on your sexual orientation, gender and religion.
James Andrews, finance expert at money.co.uk, said: “The last thing anyone needs right now is a £1,000 fine landing on their doormat.
“I would urge everyone to ensure that they fill in and submit their census form within the deadline to avoid having to pay a penalty.
“It should only take 10 minutes a person, with another 10 to cover the ‘household’ section.”

Census Day is March 21 but households have already begun receiving information about how to complete the survey.
It’s imperative to act now, although it’ll be a year before any of the results are announced.
Government and local authorities will use the information to plan services from housing to healthcare across England and Wales.
The survey can be completed on a laptop, mobile phone or tablet and shouldn’t take any longer than 10 minutes to finish.
