The Bhartiya Janata Party on Friday said that Congress has only four chapters in its history books.
During a press conference, BJP spokesperson and former minister Rajeev Chandrasekar said that the liberal party only remebers contributions made by Jawaharlala Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajeev Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi as well as Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
He made the remark while addressing the controversy that has erupted over the opening of a college honouring Veer Savarkar under Delhi University.
“Congress should change their history books. They only have four chapters that include Nehru, Indira, Rajeev, Rahul/Sonia/Priyanka. There have been several colleges and universities in the name of the Gandhis,” said Chandrasekhar.
