An army of soap stars turned out to support former Emmerdale star Adam Thomas as he launched his latest restaurant venture in Manchester ahead of the weekend.
Stars of the small screen united at Salford Quays to help 32-year-old Adam celebrate the launch of his pop-up restaurant at Box on the Docks at MediaCityUK on Thursday.
Celebs from Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Waterloo Road were out in force to ensure Adam’s new project was a success as his The Spinn restaurant chain established a summer residency down by the quayside.
Fellow ex-Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher joined Adam at a table – and the duo were joined by current stars of the ‘dales Isabel Hodgins and Danny Miller, who was joined by his fiancee Steph Jones.

While Corrie stars Alan Halsall, Ruxandra Porojnicu, Maureen Lipman, Ellie Leach, Lucy Fallon and Alexandra Mardell were all also at The Spinn enjoying the food, drinks and sun loungers.
Chelsee Healey, who starred with Adam in Waterloo Road but now performs in Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, was also in attendance.
While Emmerdale’s Chris Bisson, who was also there, found himself awestruck at the number of soap stars out in support of the launch.

And there was a slice of Love Island glamour at the event as Adam’s hunky twin brother Scott – who featured in series two of the ITV2 reality romance show in 2016 – was also there.
He gasped to the Manchester Evening News: “You’ve got Corrie sitting on one side and Emmerdale on the other – I’m not sure which side to join!”
With the pop-up open at the epicentre of television events in Manchester, Adam hopes it will become a hotspot for celeb spotting and that there will be a line of soap stars waiting to get in while the residency lasts.

He told the MEN when announcing the launch: “It’s a thriving place with the BBC and ITV here and while I’m flipping burgers I can even see Coronation Street just across he way I’ll give them a little wave.
“It would be nice to see some familiar faces down here, I’d love to see them every now and again but it’s just nice to see the hustle and bustle down here.”
He is also thrilled to be helping support a local business – Seven Bro7hers beer.
Adam said: “We love Seven Bro7hers’ family ethos and quirky brews and now they’re our neighbours at MediaCityUK we’ve asked them to create a special The Spinn brew especially for our customers which we’re now busy collaborating on, so watch this space.
“This is what our residency is all about – creating a fun vibe, soaking up the atmosphere while enjoying amazing burgers with a twist and drinks.
“Being in the middle of MediaCity is great for people watching too.”
And the soap hunk turned entrepreneur is winning support from local business leaders.

Josie Cahill, Place Director told the MEN: “Adam and Scott’s energy and passion for The Spinn is endless and we know they will make a tremendous success of their first residency at MediaCity.
“We were delighted with the success of the launch and the amount of support they received from the MediaCity community and beyond has been incredible. The Spinn is a fantastic addition to Box on the Docks.”
The Spinn at Box on the Docks will run until 8th August, while the business – which already has a main restaurant on Gatley Road in Manchester – is reportedly looking to expand with more permanent venues planned to open in the future.
