Russian President Putin had claimed that Ukraine would be forced to bring army conscription age to 18. This he said was a result of the hit Kyiv is taking. Moscow made this prediction on June 5, 2024. Interestingly on November 28, AP and Reuters reported that US has urged Ukraine to quickly increase the size of its military.
