Emma Raducanu has apparently been spotted with a new coach after brutally axing her previous two in a matter of months. The Briton stunned the tennis world last month as she stormed to the US Open title in only her second-ever Grand Slam appearance.
Nigel Sears was the first coach for the chop after he had overseen Raducanu’s run to the fourth round of Wimbledon.
And then Andrew Richardson was cast aside despite steering the 18-year-old to her remarkable triumph at Flushing Meadows.
Raducanu has now been seen with former British number one Jeremy Bates, according to The Telegraph, as she prepares for the Indian Wells tournament in California.
Bates is at the event with British number six Katie Boulter, who he has been coaching for several years.
The 59-year-old also holds the role of the Lawn Tennis Association’s national coach so is required to keep track of the leading British women.

Raducanu will be looking to defend her Flushing Meadows title in August and is already amongst the favourites to land the trophy for a second consecutive year.
“I knew that I’d have to dig deep,” Raducanu said following last month’s triumph in New York.
“I fell, somehow, and I thought that would throw myself off balance because I was going to serve.
“I was just praying not for a double fault but we got through it and I think just staying in the moment, focusing on what I had to do and my process and the mindset just really helped.
“I think every single player has a shot of winning any tournament.
“I hope that the next generation can follow in the steps of some of the greatest legends, for example Billie Jean [King] right here, and everyone who’s at the top of the game right now.”
Raducanu was sent a string of congratulatory messages after her victory, with even the Queen paying tribute to the youngster.
“It is a remarkable achievement at such a young age, and is testament to your hard work and dedication,” said the British monarch.
