SHOPPERS are scrambling to get to their nearest Tesco as a winter essential has been massively reduced.
So if you, or someone you know, is feeling the cold, you’ve come to the right place.
Particularly if you’re on a budget and are reluctant to turn the heating on, this brilliant buy is worth nabbing.
One bargain hunter was left stunned when doing her food shopping in her local Tesco in Scotland, when she noticed that the Silentnight kids’ two in one hoodie buddy had been slashed.
Thrilled with the cheap find, Tracy O’Donnell picked up two of the Snugsie huggable comfort tigers, which transform into oversized hoodies.
The Tesco fan then took to social media to alert other shoppers.

Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with a staggering 2.4 million members, Tracy shared a picture of her goodies and wrote: “These are down to 35p in Tesco!”
Tracy then confirmed that she found the alternative to a pricey Oodie in her local Tesco in Wishaw.
The snugsie, which was originally priced at £14, was first slashed to just £7.
However, now, the winter buy, which is sold out online, has been reduced in stores down to just 35p, as the supermarket hopes to clear stock.
So if you fancy saving yourself £13.65 on this brilliant buy, you will need to sprint to Tesco as quickly as you can.
Tracy later wrote: “Love a wee bargain.”
The hoodie is the perfect snuggly companion and is great if you want a simple way to keep your little ones warm.
The clever garment acts as a two-in-one, opening up as a comfortable hoodie and shrinking back into a tiger-shaped pillow when needed.
Even on the coldest days, there’s no risk of your child getting cold, as this hoodie features a super soft flannel fleece outer and a warm sherpa fleece inside.
And the best part, this hoodie comes with pockets – who doesn’t love pockets?!
Tracy’s post has clearly impressed many, as it was shared just 17 hours ago, but has quickly amassed 337 likes and 195 comments.
Social media users were stunned at the reduction and were eager to express this in the comments.
One person said: “Gorgeous!!! Excellent bargain, I salute you madam.”
Another tagged a friend and added: “Get to Tesco.”
A third alerted a loved one and commented: “We need to look for these…”
Not only this, but another Tesco shopper claimed: “Picked up four. My three and my friends wee one. Everyone else was grabbing 10+.”
Meanwhile, someone else penned: “Gutted – they were down to £7 when I bought them.”
Whilst another shopper wrote: “We paid £3.50 for ours today in Southend.”
