McDonald’s X Crocs collab has Grimace socks
McDonald‘s and Crocs have created a new line of footwear with matching accessories and the collection was launched officially on Tuesday, November 14.
The collab includes four designs of sandals and clogs, each one of them inspired by a different McDonald’s mascot – Grimace, Birdie, Hamburglar, and Classic.
The shoes come with matching jibbitz charms – in the form of your favorite menu items – and socks, but it seems most people had their eyes on the adorable Grimace socks, which aren’t available on Crocs’ shopping site anymore.
For the unversed, the restaurant was selling socks inspired by Grimace in some of its locations before collaborating with Crocs. But the socks from the latest drop appear to be specially created to match the only pair of cozy sandals in the collection.
The purple-colored plain socks have Grimace’s face printed on them and the matching jibbitz are shaped like the favorite drink and the character that inspires it.
Price of the 2023 collection and where to buy
The McDonald’s X Crocs collection is available to purchase on Crocs’s official website, at the brand’s retail stores, and select wholesale partners while the supplies last.
All the clogs and sandals including jibbitz charms are priced between $70 – $75 per pair and matching socks for $20.
Fans disappointed as their favorite accessory is sold out
Grimace fans have taken to X/Twitter to express their disappointment about missing out on the adorable accessory as it isn’t available in Crocs’ online store anymore.
“I wanted the Grimace socks too but by the time I got to them, they were sold out,” complained one.
Another added: “Girl the grimace socks sold out so fast”
“All I wanted was the grimace socks and they are gone,” said a third user.
