Kim Kardashian raised eyebrows as she showcased her latest outfit in New York on Tuesday.
The reality star, 41, stepped out in a figure-hugging strapless black dress – with the fit so skin-tight fans joked it looked like she was wearing an adult baby swaddle.
Unable to move her arms due to the fold over design, Kim decided on making a fashion statement over practicality.
However, some teased the maxi dress looked like she was wearing a swaddling band- a piece of cloth wrapped around infants to restrict their movement of limbs.
A Reddit user posted a photo of Kim alongside a baby modelling a swaddle and nicknamed the dress a “skwaddle” as they questioned how she was able to move.

One commented: “It’s giving sleeping bag vibes.”
Another added: “This is the worst dress she has ever worn by far”,. while a third chimed: “I’m still dying to know if she hit a good stretch after getting released from her swaddle. My kid always had the most satisfying stretch post swaddle release.”
While a different user typed: “Maybe she’s trying to get adult swaddles to start trending? Lol like the new weighted blankets?”
Kim was in the city for a business meeting after hosting a dinner for her shapewear line SKIMS in Miami over the weekend.

The guestlist included Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon, with the pair posing up a storm for snaps at the bash.
After her whirlwind trip to the Big Apple, Kim headed back to Los Angeles with her boyfriend Pete Davidson, 28, on Tuesday.
It comes as fans have insisted Kim is radiating happiness after ditching Kanye West for new man Pete.

The billionaire businesswoman appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last week to discuss her relationship with Saturday Night Live funnyman Pete – and viewers were taken aback by Kim’s demeanour.
Kim was unable to wipe the smile from her face as she talked about toyboy Pete.
“It feels good. I think it’s just in life, like no matter what it is, I encourage my friends and the people that I love just to be happy, and I went for it,” Kim said.
“I went for it, and, you know what? I’m in my 40s, like, f***k it — sorry — just go for it, find your happiness.”
Ellen asked the reality star about Pete’s new body art after eagle eye fans noticed her name on his chest in a selfie he sent to Kim’s ex husband Kanye West, and later posted online.
It was then the mogul revealed her name was not in ink but had been burned onto the comedian’s skin “like a scar”.
SNL star Pete is known for getting ink tributes on his body about his exes, including Ariana Grande and Cazzie David.
