Children can test their football skills and have the opportunity to advance to regional contest
VICTORIA, Texas – Register today: the City of Victoria Parks and Recreation set to host a Punt, Pass and Kick USA football skills competition.
On Saturday, Sept. 18, the City of Victoria Parks and Recreation will host a Punt, Pass and Kick USA football skills competition. The competition is free and open to kids ages between 6 and 15.
The Punt, Pass and Kick skills competition, which takes about 15 minutes to complete, tests participants in punting, passing, kicking and the 40-yard dash. The top two performers in each skill will have the opportunity to advance to the regional competition, along with the top two overall.
Your child won’t be required to stay for the entire competition. If they are one of the competition’s winners, you will be contacted. Prizes will also be available for pickup the following Monday.
You can register by visiting www.ppkusa.com. Registration will stay open up to the day of the event. You are asked to register as soon as possible, though, to help with scheduling. If you are a walk-up registrant, you must bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at Riverside Stadium, located at 405 Memorial Drive in Victoria.
