As if Thursday couldn’t get any busier, SEGA has announced that a Sonic Central live event will be held on May 27, 2021, at 9 AM PT, 12 PM ET, 5 PM BST.
This event will have a “first look at some of our upcoming projects, partnerships, and events to celebrate Sonic’s 30th anniversary”. As for what we can expect here, we reckon we will see the rumoured Sonic Collection of classic games, as well as Sonic Colors Remastered, which was also leaked.
We will also likely get a reveal for the next mainline Sonic title, which is in development and expected to be revealed sometime this year. Who knows, maybe we will see the beloved Sonic Generations ported to PS4 and PS5 as well. Chances are we will see some new merchandise and other partnerships announced as well.
The event will be streamed on the official Sonic YouTube and Twitch channels. What are you hoping to see from this event?
