Stephen A. Smith is a huge fan of the New York Knicks. But it appears like he’s a bigger fan of Iggy Azalea, as the commentator couldn’t contain his expressions as he spoke about the singer’s appearance at the recent Knicks vs Celtics game.
A clip from his segment on ESPN’s First Take has grabbed a lot of attention, after many noticed how the host couldn’t stop gushing over Iggy, despite being on camera, in the presence of his fellow hosts Wiliams and Molly Qerim.

The latest game saw several celebrity attendees, but Stephen clearly had his eyes on Iggy. She performed during the halftime show.
On First Take today, October 21, 2021, Smith was ecstatic as he spoke about the Knicks winning the game against the Celtics. The final score was 138-134. After expressing his excitement about his favorite team’s win, Stephen made a few remarks about Iggy in the flow.
Many on social media are having a good laugh watching Stephen stutter as he spoke about the singer and many believe he was ”shooting his shot” at her.
Whether Stephen realized the extent of his reactions to Iggy’s presence or not, Twitter users made sure they spoke about it.

Stephen took a moment or two to gather his words before talking about Iggy. It almost seemed like he was distracted by the thought of the singer’s presence at the game.
While carrying a smirk on his face, Stephen goes on to say, “Let me be very clear, at the Garden last night, let’s not forget Iggy Azalea, she was there. We like to see her there, it’s just important to me.”
Stephen’s co-hosts burst into laughter on hearing what he had to say about the singer.
