TikTok has sadly lost yet another one of its most popular creators.
Just last week, Florida-based teen Timothy Hall, better known as Timbo the Redneck, died in a tragic truck accident.
Not long before that, Fouad Haddad, who went by the name of Fr3sh on the app, was also killed in a motorcycle crash.
Now, tributes are flooding social media for Grizzly Dad, who has sadly passed away this week.

Who was Grizzly Dad?
Grizzly Dad was a TikTok creator best known for being part of the father and son duo Tex and John.
His real name is John Kelly, but fans knew him as ‘Papa Grizzly Bear’ or ‘Grizzly Dad’ for short.
John and his 24-year-old son joined TikTok in 2020 and began making comedic skit videos. Little did they know, they would accumulate a huge 2.7 million followers.
Aside from his TikTok career, John was also the co-owner of his own business Humboldt Construction.
John Kelly has passed away
On Monday (August 9th), Tex took to TikTok to reveal that his father John had tragically passed away.
In a touching tribute, he created a montage of videos of him and wrote: “Rest in Peace Dad, I love you.”
His cause of death is currently unknown, but Tex also confirmed his passing in a statement.
“Dad’s passing was a surprise to us all and something that we will be feeling the toll of for a very long time,” he said.
“John Kelly lived an amazing life, full of hard work and love. He was never negative and as many of you have experienced personally with him, he was always someone you wanted to be around because he made you feel special and loved. He was a great father, son, brother, and friend to countless people,” he continued.
“My family and I are absolutely devastated by his passing and while we are trying to still process all of this, life is unapologetically continuing all around us with hospital bills and expenses.”

Tex has set up a GoFundMe to help with hospital costs and expenses.

At the time of writing this, the GoFundMe has raised over $26,000, and fans are sending tributes to John on Twitter.
One person: “I just found out that John from TexandJohn on Tiktok passed away ? life just isn’t fair.”
“I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing your family with us. Your videos always made me smile. May he Rest in Peace,” said another.
A third added: “This honesty hit me really hard, rest easy Grizzly Dad, you are missed around the world.”
