Michigan-born singer Queen Naija is clapping back at people on Twitter in 2021 who are still talking about surgery that she had done in 2019. The mother-of-two said to one Twitter user that they may be “too shallow to understand“.
Famed for songs such as Pack Lite, Butterflies and Medicine, Queen Naija rose to fame on American Idol in 2014 and later had success as a YouTuber. Let’s take a look at the ‘before’ and ‘after’ of Queen Naija to find out exactly what Twitter is talking about!
Queen Naija before
Prior to 2019, Queen Naija hadn’t spoken publicly about getting any surgery.
However, following the birth of her first child, a son named Legend, in January 2019, she opted to get liposuction, a fat transfer and a butt lift.
Queen Naija was very public about what she’d had done. A video from 2019 posted by The Shade Room shows the singer explaining what she’s had done and how she didn’t plan on getting her upper back fat removed.
It looks like Queen Naija’s removed all of her posts from any time before November 2019 on Instagram.

Why is Twitter talking about the singer’s BBL surgery?
By the looks of Twitter, the topic of Queen Naija’s BBL surgery has resurfaced as someone suggested that one of her song’s lyrics were hypocritical as she was “telling mfs to love themselves how they are” but then went and had cosmetic surgery.
Queen Naija responded to the Tweet on July 21st and said: “the song was speaking to myself. the song was about not letting a man stop you from knowing your worth and being you, it had nothing to do with whether I decided to get a BBL or not, but I guess you’re just a little too shallow to understand“.
Many Tweets in the comments section support Queen Naija, one person said: “How is getting BBL not loving yourself? I hate people I swear”.
Another said: “Getting the BBL was part of loving yourself you look amazing you transfered some meat from one place to another hell wish I could afford it. I’m glad you did it FOR YOU and you look amazing period“.
