Tiger Shroff fans have been struggling to score a hit film since 2019 despite huge efforts. Following the electrifying chemistry with Hrithik Roshan in War, where Shroff’s portrayal of Khalid garnered acclaim, hopes were high for his collaboration with filmmaker Vikas Bahl in Ganapath in 2023.
Bahl, renowned for his directorial ventures like Queen, Super 30, and Chillar Party, was entrusted with helming the ambitious project. Anticipation among Shroff’s fanbase soared, eager to witness the fusion of the actor’s prowess with Bahl’s directorial finesse. However, their excitement took a nosedive with the emergence of a viral video clip on social media.
Vikas Bahal Reveals What Went Wrong With Tiger Shroff’s Ganapath
A recent viral video featuring Bahl in conversation with Siddharth Kannan has left fans disheartened. In the interview, Bahl confessed to losing focus midway through Ganapath due to his involvement in Shaitaan.
He expressed his frustration at the disparity between his vision for Ganapath and its execution on screen, attributing it to resource constraints and divided attention.

Ganapath, featuring Shroff and Kriti Sanon, found itself ensnared in a web of mixed reviews from both audiences and critics alike. While commendations poured in for the performances, critiques surfaced regarding the sluggish narrative pace, lacklustre visual effects, and formulaic action sequences. With a whopping budget of Rs 200 crore, the film suffered a colossal setback, managing a mere Rs 10 crore at the box office.
The revelation from Bahl has prompted Tiger Shroff’s fans to question why their idol seemingly did not receive the undivided attention of the filmmaker during the project. Despite Shroff’s dedication to his craft, the recurrent issue seems to lie in the screenplay, which failed to captivate audiences.
Tiger Shroff’s Work Front
