On June 28th, Halsey fans went into overdrive when the singer uploaded a short 10- second clip advertising her upcoming album on Twitter.
The announcement, which also contained the title of Halsey’s fourth studio album, gave off a rockier, more punk feel than some of her older albums, and fans are already speculating about what they can expect from the project.
Halsey’s last album Manic was released in January 2020 and debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 albums chart in the US, becoming her third top-two album on the chart.
What is Halsey’s new album called?
On June 28th, Halsey announced her the title of her upcoming album on Twitter, and fans are already losing their minds with excitement.
Halsey’s fourth studio album is titled: “If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power.”
The album is produced by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, who are most widely known for being members of the American rock band Nine Inch Nails.
However, Reznor and Ross are also the proud winners of two Oscar awards for “Best Original Score.” In 2010 they took home the award for their work on The Social Network, and in 2021 for the Pixar movie Soul.
