Adam Peaty is competing in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Representing the UK in the Men’s 100m Breaststroke. As per the BBC, Adam is off to a flying start at the Olympics and he competes in the final on July 25th 2021.

Who is Adam Peaty?

Adam Peaty is a 26-year-old Olympic swimmer who specialises in Breaststroke.

He comes from Staffordshire and started training as a swimmer from the age of 14 in Derby. He went on to train at Loughborough University.

Adam has a YouTube channel with over 24k subscribers. He posted his first YouTube video in 2017 which sees him answering questions from his social media followers. He said he wasn’t always a huge lover of swimming but found a passion for the sport in his teens.

He won his first world record in 2014 and has 13 in total.

Adam and his girlfriend, Eirianedd Munro, met at Loughborough University.

Eirianedd is 23 years old and can be found on Instagram @eirimunro with 14k followers.

Eirianedd writes in her IG bio: “The name’s Welsh, the melanin’s Nigerian“. She studied fine art at university and is an artist.

Do Adam and Eirianedd have a baby?

Yes! Adam and Eirianedd have a child together.

In 2020, the Olympian posted a photo of their baby scan to IG and said: “So The Sun decided to publish something this morning, without any attempt to contact me or my team. Something very personal and, in doing so, tried to tarnish a very special moment in my life“.

Although Adam didn’t get the announcement he wanted, he concluded: “I already feel the overwhelming love that I have for our child and nothing will take that away from me. I can not wait to become a father and the challenges and joy it will bring!“.
