Why are Lady Gaga fans ‘cancelling’ Coldplay?
- Coldplay is getting ‘cancelled’ by Lady Gaga stans as they think Coldplay’s new Kaotica campaign steals from the theme of Lady Gaga’s Chromatica album which was released in May 2020.
Lady Gaga’s Little Monsters still have her sixth studio album Chromatica, on repeat so Coldplay’s new Kaotica theme feels a little too familiar. The concept of the album was based on a fictional planet of Chromatica, whereby kindness and inclusivity are the main rules.
Coldplay has started to tease fans with a very similar theme for their Kaotica era and has launched a brand new website called alien radio FM. Lady Gaga had a pink theme throughout her album and not to fans surprise, Coldplay also unveiled pink artwork for their new single ‘Higher Power’.
