According to chart data stated by hotnewhiphop.com, DONDA secured a total of 327,270 album-equivalent units, with 44,311 arriving by way of traditional sales in the first week of release.
Although Certified Lover Boy‘s first-week confirmed sale figures have not yet been released, many have predicted the Canadian rapper’s upcoming stats.
By reflecting upon Drake’s previous album successes, digitalmusicnews.com predicted club‘s possible upcoming sales as the following.
While Scorpion, Drake’s 2018 studio album, sold 732k copies in its first week of release, 2020’s collection of leaks and unreleased named Dark Lane Demo Tapes sold 227k copies in the same time period.
Reportedly, Certified Lover Boy can expect to sell between 500-700k copies in its first week of release.
