What does Y/N mean?
Y/N is simply an abbreviated version of ‘your name’.
It’s often used in anime fanfiction
The term originates from anime books and fanfiction and is a way of inserting the reader into the story.
If you see Y/N in a sentence, you are supposed to insert your own name there.
For example, if your name is Ellissa and a sentence says “Hey Y/N, how are you?”, you would replace Y/N with your own name, so the sentence actually says: “Hey Ellissa, how are you?”
