According to the latest reports, Kapoor and the Toxic team have parted ways amicably due to conflicting schedules.
Kareena Kapoor Khan Is NO Longer A Part Of Yash’s Toxic
Sources close to the production told Pinkvilla that Kareena Kapoor’s dates do not align with Yash’s for Toxic. Despite efforts to adjust the calendar, they have decided to part ways.
Following Kapoor’s exit, the production team is now in talks with several actresses to fill the crucial role originally intended for her. Toxic relies heavily on the sibling dynamic, making the sister’s role pivotal. The makers are seeking actresses with a Pan-India presence for the part, the source explained.
Yash Is Co-Producing The Female – Kiara Advani Still Locked For Female Lead
Meanwhile, Kiara Advani remains confirmed as the female lead opposite Yash in the film. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic marks the first collaboration between Yash and the award-winning director. Filming is currently in progress, with a planned release date of April 10, 2025. Yash is also co-producing this film along with Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana.
As casting discussions continue, fans eagerly anticipate the official announcement of Kapoor’s replacement in the film. It would be interesting to see who replaces bebo in this much-awaited project.
Talking about her work front, Kareena was last seen in Ektaa Kapoor’s Crew alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon. On the other hand, Kiara Advani appeared in Satyaprem Ki Katha and has interesting projects like War 2, Game Changer and more, lined up for release.
