Minister of Social Solidarity and Vice President of the Egyptian Red Crescent Maya Morsy affirmed the Egyptian Red Crescent’s (ERC) readiness and ability to bring more aid to those in need in the war-torn Gaza Strip, in coordination with relevant Egyptian bodies.
Morsy made her remarks in a statement on Friday 17/1/2025 as she was following up on the efforts of ERC Operations Room, which works around the clock to coordinate the delivery of humanitarian aid to the war-ravaged Palestinian enclave.
“Ever since the onset of the Israeli war on Gaza, the ‘Red Crescent’ – with all its cadres and logistics centers – has been working in Gaza, in constant coordination with all partners and local and international bodies, to deliver aid into the Gaza Strip,” the minister said.
