MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine government has secured a $905.26 million, or roughly P54 billion, to finance the initial implementation of the Laguna Lakeshore Road Network (LLRN) project, one of the government’s flagship infrastructure projects designed to help decongest traffic gridlock and support economic growth in Metro Manila and the Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon (Calabarzon) area.
The official development assistance (ODA) loan was granted by the Republic of Korea through Export-Import Bank of Korea (KEXIM) for LLRN, Project Phase 1 Stage 1, Public Works and Highways Secretary Manuel Bonoan said over the weekend.
