Isolated rain showers and thunderstorms would be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of the country within the next 24 hours due to the easterlies, the state weather agency said on Wednesday.
This weather system (easterlies) brings humid, warm weather that comes from the east and passes through the Pacific Ocean, weather specialist Benison Estareja of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
