Mixed reactions to Fortnite’s announcement
Fortnite announced a second showing of today’s live event at 11 pm after many gamers weren’t able to watch the earlier showing.
There are mixed reviews of the announcement on X (formerly Twitter).
One gamer commented: “Amazing! Fortnite is on a whole different level.”
However, a second disagreed: “ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT I BOUGHT BATTLE PASS LEVELS FOR NOTHING AT THE LAST MINUTE?”
A third wrote: “So, for us who wanted to attend the event, get the variation of the skin, and have fun with buds….we get XP that most of us don’t need, spectra knight quests autocompleted that are already done, and back bling we won’t wear…..cmon man.”
Play Fortnite via cloud streaming
If you’re looking to watch tonight’s Eminem concert at 11 pm but aren’t near a dedicated gaming device, you can play Fortnite via cloud streaming.
The services that support the stream are Xbox Cloud Gaming, NVIDIA GeForce NOW, and Amazon Luna.
The second show of the day is set to start at 11 pm ET.
Dress as Eminem
In honor of Eminem’s headlining role for this year’s Fortnite event, the game has dropped three skins based on him in the item shop.
The three outfits are called Rap Boy, Slim Shady, and Marshall Never More.
They dropped on Wednesday.
Those who attend the event will also earn a Big Bang loading screen featuring the star.
