iOS 15 users complain of ‘no storage’ alert
It’s a notification that all iPhone users want to ideally avoid. Nothing is worse than having to rake through your camera roll to delete those useless screenshots, or having a clearout of apps that you only use monthly.
However, lately, iOS 15 users have reported that they’ve received the ‘storage almost full’ message even though they have plenty of storage.
One user tweeted: “First bug I’ve found in iOS 15 is it saying my iPhone storage is almost full and not being able to remove the notification in Settings. Seems the same other than that?”
Another wrote: “After updating to iOS 15 I got this “iPhone Storage Almost Full” warning although half of the phone storage is used and all recommended actions have been taken. #BugReport #iOS15 #Settings #Storage“
How to fix the iOS 15 storage bug
Let’s take a look at some quick-fix methods to solve the iOS 15 storage problem.
Force restart your iPhone
Think of this as somewhat of a restart for your device. It’s been updated to the latest iOS operating system and now it needs a second to get it together.
Simultaneously hold the two volume buttons and the power button until the Apple logo appears.
Hopefully, when your iPhone restarts, the storage issue will be solved.

Reset settings
If that didn’t fix the problem, try taking a look in ‘Settings’.
Choose ‘Settings’ > ‘General’ > ‘Transfer or reset iPhone’.
From here, you should be able to reset your iPhone settings which will hopefully remove the ‘storage almost full’ notification.
Be careful when doing this, though, and ensure all important information is backed up.
Report to Apple Support
It seems as though the issue is universal and likely just a bug due to the new update.
If this is the case, Apple are probably working on it right now. Try reporting your issue to Apple Support via Twitter so that they can get on the case!
